What Is CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB?
CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB is a vendor-specific MIB for Cisco's BPX-SES and MGX ATM WAN switching platforms, describing ATM network services including Switched Virtual Circuit (SVC) call control, provisioning, and status gathering, using ATM/PNNI terminology such as ABR, AINI, and ENNI. An administrator would check cwsControllerStatus and cwspPnniStndbyControllerStatus / cwspPnniControllerStatus (with cwspPnniControllerPhySlot identifying the physical slot) to confirm the active and standby PNNI controllers are both healthy and correctly synchronized. Polling cwspSscopTable / cwspSscopEntry for timer values like cwspSscopTmrKeepAlive, cwspSscopTmrNoResp, and cwspSscopTmrPoll would reveal whether an SSCOP signaling link to a neighboring switch is stable or repeatedly timing out, which would indicate an ATM inter-switch signaling adjacency problem affecting SVC call setup. cwsSwRevision lets the operator confirm the running software version matches the expected baseline across redundant controllers.
