An administrator watches this to detect when even the higher-priority cells of non-real-time VBR traffic are being dropped, which usually indicates the interface is significantly oversubscribed or congested for that class. For example, cwspLoadClr0NrtVbr moving away from -1/N-A to a non-zero loss value on a non-real-time VBR trunk is a strong signal that the interface can no longer sustain its currently admitted non-real-time load without dropping cells.
