What Is ATM-FORUM-TC-MIB?
ATM-FORUM-TC-MIB is a vendor-neutral textual-convention module defined by the ATM Forum, supplying shared data types and enumerations (transmission types, media types, traffic descriptor types, service registry types) for use across the family of ATM Forum SNMP management MIBs. It carries no scalar or tabular runtime objects itself and therefore exposes no operational counters, hardware status, or trap definitions directly. It plays no direct role in reporting uptime, temperature, CPU/memory, or other device health data; its purpose is purely to standardize how other ATM MIBs encode ATM-specific concepts. Any ATM-FORUM-TC-MIB OID reference is resolved indirectly, since it is a foundational dependency imported by other ATM Forum MIB modules, such as ATM interface and PVC/SVC management MIBs, rather than something polled on its own. It is used wherever ATM switching or interface equipment implements ATM Forum-defined SNMP management.

Monitoring Examples
This module is a pure textual-convention module with no runtime data objects, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe; it only defines shared types such as transmission and media type enumerations that other ATM MIBs import.
