Module: CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB::cwspConnTraceEgressPhyPortId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.140.1.2.14.4.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-only

Description: This object shows the Egress port's physical port Identifier for the traversed node; if this object is 0 meaning that the destination node for the traced connection has been reached. the meaning for the bytes are: first byte -- flag (used by CLI to decode the rest of bytes ) 2nd byte -- shelf 3rd & 4th bytes -- slot 5th byte -- subslot 6th & 7th bytes -- port 8th byte -- subport

What is cwspConnTraceEgressPhyPortId?

This read-only OCTET STRING (SIZE(8)) reports the egress physical port identifier for the traversed node in the trace, where a value of all zeros means the destination node for the traced connection has been reached. An administrator reads this alongside cwspConnTraceEgressPortId to identify the underlying physical port, not just the logical port, that the traced call used at each hop. For example, an engineer maps cwspConnTraceEgressPhyPortId to a physical cable/slot identity when needing to confirm exactly which physical link a traced call traversed at a given node.
