This read-only AtmAddress reports the Calling Party Address of the call on this interface, i.e. the ATM address of the party that originated the SVC setup. An administrator inspects this to identify which endpoint initiated a specific call, useful when tracing unexpected or unauthorized call attempts hitting a switch. For example, if a switch logs repeated call failures, an operator reads cwspCallCallingAddress on the offending call table entries to identify a misconfigured or malicious originating device.
