Module: CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB::cwspUtilFactorRtVbr

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.140.1.2.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This is the booking factor for real time VBR service

What is cwspUtilFactorRtVbr?

This read-write Integer32, ranging from 1 to 200, is the booking factor for real time VBR service, a multiplier the switch applies when computing how much of an interface's capacity a new real-time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) connection is booked as consuming. An administrator tunes this booking factor to control call-admission aggressiveness for real-time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) traffic on the interface: a value above 100 lets the switch oversubscribe (statistically multiplex) real-time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) connections, while 100 books calls at their literal declared rate. For example, setting cwspUtilFactorRtVbr to 150 tells the admission-control logic to treat each new real-time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) call as consuming only two-thirds of its nominal bandwidth for booking purposes, allowing more real-time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) SVCs to be admitted on the same trunk.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.140.1.2.2.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB::cwspUtilFactorRtVbr

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.140.1.2.2.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-WAN-SVC-MIB::cwspUtilFactorRtVbr.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.140.1.2.2.1.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cwspUtilFactorRtVbr.1
