All MIBsBDCOM-INTERFACES

Category: Network Interfaces, Vendor: BDCOM

Description: Defines interface type registrations and supplementary interface objects for BDCOM networking equipment.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is BDCOM-INTERFACES?

BDCOM-INTERFACES is a BDCOM (Chinese networking-equipment vendor) proprietary MIB extending standard interface statistics with Cisco-IOS-style 'show interface' detail. Its interface table, keyed by ifIndex, records hardware type, line protocol state, last-input/output/output-hang times, input/output bits-per-second and packets-per-second, runts/giants/CRC/frame/overrun/ignored/abort input errors, reset/restart counts, keepalive setting, last-down reason, carrier transitions, reliability, and delay. As a performance/status MIB it lets an administrator diagnose an interface's error type and stability using familiar 'show interface'-style counters on a BDCOM device. It is deployed on BDCOM networking equipment. Engineers can download the BDCOM-INTERFACES file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in BDCOM-INTERFACES. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • BDCOM networking equipment

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks bdlocIfInCRC and bdlocIfCarTrans to diagnose a flapping or error-prone interface on a BDCOM device.
