bdlocIfLineProt
Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES
OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfLineProt
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Boolean whether interface line protocol is up or not.
What is bdlocIfLineProt?
This boolean field indicates whether the line protocol (the data link layer protocol) is operational on the interface. Network operators use it to distinguish between physical link up and protocol operational. Example: bdlocIfLineProt = 1 (true) means the line protocol is up and frames can be transmitted; 0 (false) means the physical layer works but the protocol is down—a sign of configuration issues.
