bdlocIfSlowOutOctets

Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES

OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfSlowOutOctets

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.33

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Octet count for Outbound traffic routed with slow switching

What is bdlocIfSlowOutOctets?

This counter tallies the total bytes of outbound traffic routed via slow switching. Network engineers use it to quantify CPU-intensive egress traffic. Example: bdlocIfSlowOutOctets = 30000000 means 30 MB of outbound traffic was slow-switched; if this is most of the egress traffic, the device needs faster switching or traffic filtering.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.33
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfSlowOutOctets

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.33.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfSlowOutOctets.1
