What is bdlocIfvinesInPkts?

This counter tallies inbound Banyan VINES protocol packets, the legacy LAN protocol used by Banyan servers. Operators use it for VINES network presence detection. Example: bdlocIfvinesInPkts = 0 is typical for modern networks; non-zero shows VINES systems active.
