bdlocIfFastOutOctets

Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES

OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfFastOutOctets

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.37

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Octet count for Outbound traffic routed with fast switching

What is bdlocIfFastOutOctets?

This counter tallies total bytes of outbound traffic routed via fast switching. Network engineers use it for egress throughput analysis. Example: bdlocIfFastOutOctets = 4000000000 means 4 GB of outbound traffic was fast-switched; a high ratio of fast-switched bytes to total outbound bytes indicates efficient operation.
