bdlocIfInOverrun
Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES
OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfInOverrun
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.14
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Count of input which arrived too quickly for the to hardware receive.
What is bdlocIfInOverrun?
This counter tallies input packets dropped because they arrived faster than the interface hardware could receive and buffer them. Operators use it to identify traffic bursts exceeding interface capacity. Example: bdlocIfInOverrun = 12 means 12 packets were lost to receive overrun; a growing count suggests the upstream link speed exceeds this port's capacity.
