Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES
OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfInputQueueDrops
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.26
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The number of packets dropped because the input queue was full.
What is bdlocIfInputQueueDrops?
This counter tracks packets discarded because the input queue was full and no buffer space remained. Operators use it to detect input congestion. Example: bdlocIfInputQueueDrops = 23 indicates 23 packets were dropped at input due to queue overflow; if this count grows rapidly, the device processor cannot keep up with incoming traffic.
