bdlocIfInPktsSec

Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES

OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfInPktsSec

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Five minute exponentially-decayed moving average of input packets per second.

What is bdlocIfInPktsSec?

This gauge provides a 5-minute exponentially-weighted moving average of input packet rate in packets per second. Network teams use it to track protocol load. Example: bdlocIfInPktsSec = 10000 indicates the interface is receiving an average of 10,000 packets/sec; a sudden drop suggests network congestion or link failure.
