bdlocIfDelay
Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES
OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfDelay
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.23
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The amount of delay in microseconds of the interface. Used by IGRP.
What is bdlocIfDelay?
This integer specifies the interface propagation delay in microseconds, used by IGRP to calculate route cost and prefer faster paths. Network designers use it for path optimization. Example: bdlocIfDelay = 100 microseconds represents typical Ethernet latency; serial links might be 1000+, making IGRP prefer Ethernet paths for routing.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.23 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfDelay
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.23.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfDelay.1
