bdlocIfInRunts
Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES
OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfInRunts
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.10
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Number of packets input which were smaller then the allowable physical media permitted.
What is bdlocIfInRunts?
This counter tallies the number of input packets that were smaller than the minimum allowed size for the media (e.g., < 64 bytes for Ethernet). Admins use it to detect frame corruption or misconfigured devices. Example: bdlocIfInRunts = 15 indicates 15 undersize frames were received; a growing count suggests upstream device misconfiguration or cable problems.
