bdlocIfSlowInOctets

Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES

OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfSlowInOctets

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.32

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Octet count for Inbound traffic routed with slow switching

What is bdlocIfSlowInOctets?

This counter tallies the total bytes of inbound traffic routed via slow switching. Operators use it to understand CPU overhead in byte terms. Example: bdlocIfSlowInOctets = 50000000 indicates 50 MB of inbound traffic was slow-switched; combined with slow-switched packet count, admins can calculate average packet size for the CPU-intensive traffic.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.32
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfSlowInOctets

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.32.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfSlowInOctets.1
