bdlocIfInFrame

Module: BDCOM-INTERFACES

OID (symbolic): BDCOM-INTERFACES::bdlocIfInFrame

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3320.2.2.1.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Number of input packet which were misaligned.

What is bdlocIfInFrame?

This counter counts input packets with framing alignment errors, where the data does not align with frame boundaries. Network admins use it to diagnose synchronization problems. Example: bdlocIfInFrame = 8 indicates 8 misaligned input packets; if this grows, it suggests a speed mismatch (e.g., 10Mbps device on a 100Mbps port) or serial line configuration error.
