This is a broad theme of status and lifecycle fields for a specific attached device, card, or removable item — file status on a PCMCIA card, hardware revision of an interface module, row-status controls for adding or removing a device entry, or the health of an external SSD. Because it spans many unrelated subsystems, treat each object per its own name rather than assuming a single shared meaning; what they share is that an admin reads them to confirm a specific piece of hardware or its management-table entry is in the expected state. RowStatus-typed objects in this group are used to create, modify, or delete a device's table entry, not to report ongoing health.
