What Is ADTX-RAID-AVCL-S2-MIB?

ADTX-RAID-AVCL-S2-MIB is a vendor-specific MIB from ADTX for its second-generation "L Series" Virtual Console (AVCL), used to manage and monitor external RAID storage array controllers. It exposes device/software identity data (version, OS, host) alongside a table of attached storage devices with per-device network and product identity information. For hardware/software status monitoring, it reports the AVCL software version and host running the console, and — critically for storage health — a device information table listing each managed storage device's IP address, system/firmware version, and manufacturer/product name, letting an operator confirm which storage devices are being managed and their attached firmware level. An administrator would poll avclDeviceInformationTable/avclDeviceInformationEntry, indexed by avclDeviceIndex, to enumerate each managed RAID device's avclDeviceIP, avclDeviceSystemVersion, and avclDeviceManufacturer/avclDeviceProductName, confirming that all storage arrays are on a known-good firmware version. avclNumOfDevices gives a quick count of managed devices to detect if one has dropped off management, and avclEventInfo would surface any outstanding array/controller event or fault condition. avclVersion and avclHost identify the console software version and host, useful for verifying the management agent itself is current.
