What Is ACC-FLASH?
ACC-FLASH is an enterprise MIB for ACC/Ericsson routers focused specifically on flash memory management, covering firmware image files, flash partition status, and control objects for firmware upgrade operations. It exposes objects to inspect flash partition layout and status and to initiate or track a firmware upgrade process. As a hardware/software status MIB it is central to confirming flash health, for example a partition reporting an error or corrupted state, and to monitoring the progress and outcome of firmware upgrades, both critical operational events on the device. It works closely with ACC-FILESYS, which handles the general file-system view of the same flash storage. It is deployed on ACC/Ericsson routers during firmware maintenance windows and for ongoing flash-health monitoring. Engineers can download the ACC-FLASH file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

Monitoring Examples
An administrator polls the flash partition status objects before and during a firmware upgrade to confirm the new image is writing successfully and the partition doesn't report an error state. A partition stuck in a "writing" or "error" state well past the expected upgrade duration would indicate a failed flash write, requiring the device to be recovered from a backup image.
