accBrFiltIIEntDstMacAddrMask
Module: ACC-FLASH
OID (symbolic): ACC-FLASH::accBrFiltIIEntDstMacAddrMask
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.19.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-write
Description:
Destination MAC Address Mask for the Filtering entry. The mask is ANDed with the Destination address to determine that part of the MAC address which is used in the filtering decision.
What is accBrFiltIIEntDstMacAddrMask?
This OID contains a 6-byte mask that is applied to destination MAC addresses to determine which bits are relevant for filtering decisions. Network engineers use this to match a range of MAC addresses instead of just a single address by masking out certain octets. For example, a mask of FF:FF:FF:00:00:00 would match any device whose first three MAC address octets match, ignoring the last three.
