accBrFiltIIEntSrcMacAddrMask
Module: ACC-FLASH
OID (symbolic): ACC-FLASH::accBrFiltIIEntSrcMacAddrMask
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.19.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-write
Description:
Source MAC Address Mask for the Filtering entry. The mask is ANDed with the Source address to determine that part of the MAC address which is used in the filtering decision.
What is accBrFiltIIEntSrcMacAddrMask?
This OID contains a 6-byte mask applied to source MAC addresses to determine which bits are used in the filtering comparison. Network engineers use this to create filters that match a group of source devices by allowing wildcards in the MAC address. A mask value of FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:00 would match all packets from any device in the same vendor block (same first 5 octets).
