accBrFpProt

Module: ACC-FLASH

OID (symbolic): ACC-FLASH::accBrFpProt

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.8.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: protocol type. Set this object to NULL to delete the entry.

What is accBrFpProt?

This OID stores the protocol type for a forwarding protocol entry as an integer between 0 and 65535. Network engineers use this to configure which protocols (like IP, IPX, or AppleTalk) the bridge will forward across ports. For example, setting it to 1 might represent IP, while 2 could represent IPX; a value of 0 lets you delete the entry entirely.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.8.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-FLASH::accBrFpProt

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.8.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-FLASH::accBrFpProt.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.4.8.1.2.1 i <value>
