What Is CISCO-WAN-LAPD-TRUNK-MIB?

CISCO-WAN-LAPD-TRUNK-MIB is a Cisco-proprietary MIB for VISM (Voice Interworking Service Module) cards, covering LAPD (Link Access Procedure on the D-channel) trunking used to carry ISDN PRI signaling over a Reliable UDP (RUDP) transport for Common Channel Signaling (CCS) VoIP trunking. An administrator would poll vismLapdTrunkGrpTable/vismLapdTrunkGrpEntry, indexed by vismLapdTrunkNum, to check vismLapdTrunkState and confirm the trunk is correctly associated with vismLapdTrunkRudpIndex. Within vismLapdTable/vismLapdEntry, vismLapdAppType, vismLapdWinSize, and vismLapdN200 would be checked to verify the LAPD link is configured with the expected windowing and retransmission parameters for reliable PRI signaling transport. A LAPD trunk state that will not transition to active, or a rowstatus (vismLapdTrunkRowStatus) stuck mid-creation, would flag a signaling trunk provisioning fault.
