Description: This counter contains Receiver Not Ready frames received on LAPD.
What is vismLapdRxNotReadyFrames?
This read-only Counter32 counts Receiver Not Ready (RNR) frames received on this LAPD link, which are control frames the peer sends to signal it is temporarily unable to accept more I-frames. An admin watching this counter can detect when the remote end is applying flow control back onto this device, which can explain reduced throughput or stalled transmissions. A spike in this counter would prompt an admin to check whether the far-end system is overloaded or its receive buffers are full.
