Description: This counter contains Frame Reject frames transmitted on a LAPD.
What is vismLapdTxFrmRejectFrames?
This object counts Frame Reject frames that were transmitted out on a LAPD (Link Access Procedure on D-channel) link, which is used for signaling in VoIP trunk connections. Frame Reject frames are control frames sent when a data link protocol error is detected, indicating that the link layer cannot accept incoming frames. An operator would monitor this counter to diagnose link layer communication problems between two VISM (Voice Interface Service Module) cards or between a VISM and a call agent.
