What is vismLapdRxDiscModeFrames?
This read-only Counter32 counts Disconnect Mode (DM) frames received on this LAPD link, which a peer sends to indicate it is logically disconnected and not ready to establish a data link. An admin sees this as a signal that the far end isn't in a state to communicate, which can explain a trunk that fails to come up despite the physical layer being fine. Persistent DM frames from a peer would lead an admin to check the remote device's own LAPD or trunk configuration status rather than the local link.
