Description: Enlogic proprietary MIB for managing intelligent Power Distribution Units (PDUs), including power metering and outlet control.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is ENLOGIC-PDU-MIB?

ENLOGIC-PDU-MIB is Enlogic's proprietary MIB for its intelligent Power Distribution Units (PDUs), placing it in the data-center power/rack infrastructure management space. It exposes PDU nameplate/identity data (unit name, physical location, network configuration) alongside the broader power-metering and outlet-control objects the device supports. It is used to monitor the operational and configuration status of PDU hardware, including device identity, network reachability settings, and (per its broader design) power draw and outlet status, which are the key hardware health indicators for a PDU. No dependency on other standard MIBs is apparent from the available data; it appears to be a self-contained enterprise MIB. It is typically deployed in data-center or server-room racks to track and remotely manage individual PDU units across a facility. Engineers can download the ENLOGIC-PDU-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ENLOGIC-PDU-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Enlogic intelligent Power Distribution Unit (PDU)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator would walk the pduNamePlateTable (via pduNamePlateEntry/pduNamePlateIndex) to inventory each PDU unit's pduNamePlateName and pduNamePlateLocation, cross-checking pduNamePlateIPAddress, pduNamePlateInetNetMask, and pduNamePlateMACAddress to confirm network reachability. A mismatch or stale pduNamePlateIPAddress compared to DHCP/DNS records would reveal a misconfigured or disconnected PDU before it becomes a power-monitoring blind spot.

What Can Be Monitored

  • PDU unit identity/name
  • PDU physical location
  • PDU IP address and network configuration
  • PDU MAC address
  • PDU UTC time offset
