What Is A3COM-SDLC-R1-MIB?
A3COM-SDLC-R1-MIB is a legacy 3Com (enterprise OID 43) proprietary MIB configuring SDLC (Synchronous Data Link Control) ports. Its admin table, keyed by port, records name, role, type, topology, activation timeout, pause, and slow-poll timer, mirrored by an operational table showing current values (which may lag configured values until the interface restarts) plus last-failure time/cause, and a stats table records physical failures and invalid addresses. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm SDLC port configuration and diagnose port failures on legacy 3Com SNA gateway equipment. It is deployed on legacy 3Com SDLC/SNA gateway equipment. Engineers can download the A3COM-SDLC-R1-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
