What Is TN-MPLS-TP-MIB?
TN-MPLS-TP-MIB is a Nokia-proprietary SNMP MIB module for the Nokia SROS platform, used to provision and manage MPLS Transport Profile (MPLS-TP) tunnels and their OAM functions. It exposes configuration and status data for MPLS-TP tunnel identifiers, global/node identifiers, tunnel ID ranges, administrative state, and OAM template configuration used for continuity-check and fault-detection sessions on TP tunnels. Rather than hardware sensors, its monitoring value lies in tunnel/service health — administrative state reveals whether a tunnel is enabled, and configuration change timestamps reveal when tunnel provisioning last changed, both used to catch misconfigured or down transport-layer paths. It is a Nokia-proprietary router MIB built on Nokia's virtual-router ("vRtr") object-naming convention shared across other SROS MIBs, so it depends on that shared numbering/indexing scheme rather than a standards-based IETF MPLS-TP MIB. It is deployed on Nokia SROS-based carrier Ethernet/MPLS-TP routers in service-provider transport networks. Engineers can download the TN-MPLS-TP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

Monitoring Examples
An admin polls vRtrMplsTpSystemTable/vRtrMplsTpSystemEntry to check vRtrMplsTpGlobalId and vRtrMplsTpNodeId configuration and confirm vRtrMplsTpAdminState shows the MPLS-TP subsystem enabled on a given virtual router. The vRtrMplsTpOamTemplateCfgTable (tracked via vRtrMplsTpOamTemplTblLastChanged) exposes OAM template configuration; a recent, unexpected change timestamp combined with a tunnel outside its configured vRtrMplsTpTunnelIdMin/vRtrMplsTpTunnelIdMax range would indicate a provisioning error.
