What Is CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EXTMGMT-MIB?

CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EXTMGMT-MIB is a Cisco MIB (ciscoUnifiedComputingMIBObjects 57) that models the EXTMGMT (external management interface) package of the Cisco UCS Manager information model, covering how a UCS fabric interconnect's management network reachability is verified and monitored. It exposes cucsExtmgmtArpTargetsTable and cucsExtmgmtNdiscTargetsTable (ARP and IPv6 neighbor-discovery probe targets, each with a maxDeadlineTimeout and number-of-requests policy plus up to three target IP addresses), cucsExtmgmtGatewayPingTable (gateway reachability ping policy, again with a max deadline timeout and request count), cucsExtmgmtMiiStatusTable (MII link-status retry policy — maxRetryCount, retryInterval), and cucsExtmgmtIfTable/cucsExtmgmtIfMonPolicyTable for out-of-band network interface state and monitoring-mechanism configuration. Because every object is generated from the UCS management information model (each table carries a CucsManagedObjectDn distinguished name and CucsAaaConfigState), the MIB is really a machine-readable reflection of UCS's own external-connectivity health checks rather than hand-built counters.
