What Is ACC-QTP?

ACC-QTP (Quality Threshold Parameters) is an enterprise MIB for ACC/Ericsson routers that defines configurable thresholds used to trigger alerts when performance metrics degrade beyond acceptable levels. It exposes threshold-configuration objects rather than the raw counters themselves, letting an operator define what counts as a degraded condition for the device. In a monitoring context it functions as the alerting-policy layer sitting on top of underlying performance data, so administrators use it to tune when the router should raise a quality/performance alarm about its own link or software performance rather than to read live counters directly. It depends conceptually on whatever performance counters (link, WAN, or Ethernet MIBs) the thresholds are applied against, since QTP itself is a threshold-policy layer. It would be deployed on ACC/Ericsson access routers where operators want proactive alerting rather than only reactive polling of raw statistics. Engineers can download the ACC-QTP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
