This counter tracks frames received from modems that were dropped because the destination QTP route had been removed from the routing table. Engineers watch this metric to catch dynamic routing failures or aggressive route timeouts that prevent successful data transfer. For example, a steady loss of 10 frames per minute suggests that routes are expiring before connections complete their data transfer.
