11 modules from IANA

IANA's entries here aren't a product vendor at all - they're the pure textual-convention and registry modules IANA maintains as shared building blocks that other MIBs import, covering things like interface types (IANAifType-MIB), address families, BFD diagnostic codes, ITU alarm codes, MAU/Ethernet medium types, GMPLS and PWE3 pseudowire type codes, and printer/finisher and TN3270e terminal conventions. None of these modules define pollable tables, counters, or traps of their own - they exist so that a vendor's actual BFD-STD-MIB, IF-MIB, or Printer MIB can use a consistent, IANA-governed enumeration instead of inventing its own. Come to this page not to monitor a device, but to decode an unfamiliar numeric value you found while polling some other MIB - for example, resolving an ifType or dot3MauType code back to a human-readable interface or cable type. Because every module here is standards-track and vendor-neutral, you'll never poll IANA-* objects directly; you'll only encounter their enumerations surfacing inside the vendor or IETF MIBs (IF-MIB, BFD-STD-MIB, Printer MIB, TN3270E-MIB, etc.) that import them.

ModuleDescription
IANA-ADDRESS-FAMILY-NUMBERS-MIB IPNM ✓Defines the AddressFamilyNumbers textual convention, an IANA-maintained enumeration of address family identifiers (IPv4, IPv6, IPX, AppleTalk, etc.).
IANA-BFD-TC-STD-MIBIANA-maintained MIB defining textual conventions for BFD (Bidirectional Forwarding Detection) state and diagnostic codes per RFC 7331.
IANA-CHARSET-MIB IPNM ✓Establishes the IANACharset textual convention, used to designate character set encodings for string objects across MIBs, drawn from the IANA Charset Registry.
IANA-ENTITY-MIB IPNM ✓Defines the IANAPhysicalClass textual convention that provides an indication of the general hardware type of a particular physical entity.
IANA-ITU-ALARM-TC-MIB IPNM ✓Defines ITU Alarm textual conventions based on ITU Recommendations M.3100, X.733, and X.736 for use in alarm management MIBs.
IANA-MALLOC-MIB IPNM ✓Defines the IANAscopeSource and IANAmallocRangeSource textual conventions for identifying how multicast address scope and range information is learned.
IANA-MAU-MIB IPNM ✓Defines dot3MauType object identities and textual conventions for Ethernet medium attachment unit (MAU) types used in the MAU-MIB.
IANA-PRINTER-MIB IPNM ✓Defines printing-related textual conventions for use in the Printer MIB and Finisher MIB.
IANA-RTPROTO-MIB IPNM ✓Defines textual conventions for identifying unicast and multicast routing protocol mechanisms.
IANAifType-MIB IPNM ✓Defines the IANAifType textual convention, an IANA-maintained enumeration of network interface types used in the IF-MIB ifType object.
IANATn3270eTC-MIB IPNM ✓Defines textual conventions for TN3270E terminal emulation management, used by the TN3270E-MIB and TN3270E-RT-MIB modules.
