What Is ACC-SLOT?
ACC-SLOT is a legacy Access Communications Corp (ACC, built on ACC-MIB/ACC-SYSTEM) proprietary MIB reporting per-slot physical port configuration and traffic statistics on ACC WAN access equipment. Its slot table, keyed by index, records in/out packet counts, change-count, protocol, clock mode, queue mode, dial procedure, resync mode, compression mode (V.42bis/DCS-221 parameters), severe-congestion percentage, dial address, compression revision/max-streams/message level, interface type, E1 frame mode, and a Y2K-safe last-change timestamp, with a companion card-slot table. As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm per-slot dial/compression configuration and traffic volume on legacy ACC WAN access equipment. It is deployed on legacy ACC (Access Communications Corp) WAN access equipment. Engineers can download the ACC-SLOT file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ACC-SLOT. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
What Can Be Monitored
- per-slot dial/compression configuration and traffic volume
Supported Devices
- Legacy ACC (Access Communications Corp) WAN access equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks accSlotInPkts and accSlotCompressMode to confirm traffic volume and compression settings on a legacy ACC WAN access slot.
