accSlotQueueMode

Module: ACC-SLOT

OID (symbolic): ACC-SLOT::accSlotQueueMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

Queuing mode for this slot Fair queuing provides per-conversation bandwidth allocation, with additional bandwidth allocated to higher priority traffic. Precedence queueing gives first-in-first-out service amongst priority queues.

What is accSlotQueueMode?

This setting controls how queued packets are handled when the slot interface is congested, choosing between fair-queuing (all conversations get equal bandwidth) and precedence-queuing (higher-priority traffic goes first). Network engineers adjust this to ensure critical business traffic gets priority treatment during periods of high interface utilization. Changing accSlotQueueMode to 'fair-queuing' means each conversation gets an equal share of bandwidth, with additional bandwidth allocated to higher-priority flows.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SLOT::accSlotQueueMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SLOT::accSlotQueueMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.24.1 i <value>
