accSlotCompressMaxStreams

Module: ACC-SLOT

OID (symbolic): ACC-SLOT::accSlotCompressMaxStreams

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.35

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description:

The maximum number of independent data streams for this physical port. This object determines the size of the history buffer pool.

What is accSlotCompressMaxStreams?

This setting controls the maximum number of independent data flows that can be compressed simultaneously and separately on this slot interface. Engineers tune this to balance compression effectiveness against memory usage; more streams consume more buffer memory but enable better compression of mixed traffic. Setting accSlotCompressMaxStreams to 8 means the compression engine can maintain separate dictionaries and compress up to 8 independent data streams.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.35
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SLOT::accSlotCompressMaxStreams

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.35.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ACC-SLOT::accSlotCompressMaxStreams.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5.1.1.5.2.1.35.1 i <value>
