What Is PRVT-RING-EPS-MIB?

PRVT-RING-EPS-MIB is a BATM Advanced Communication proprietary MIB (built on PRVT-SWITCH-MIB) implementing ITU-T G.8032 Ring Ethernet Protection Switching. Its instance table, keyed by index, records mode, node role, ring state, a local manual command, control VLAN, port-0/port-1 ifIndex, RPL (Ring Protection Link) port, manual-switch port, CFM maintenance-domain level, port-0/port-1 MEP, revertive flag, no-virtual-channel flag, hold-off/wait-to-restore/guard/wait-to-block timers, defect-FOP (Failure of Protocol) flag, port-0/port-1 status, and peer node ID. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm ring topology, RPL assignment, and protection-switching state on a BATM G.8032 ring device. It is deployed on BATM Advanced Communication equipment (G.8032 Ring Ethernet Protection Switching). Engineers can download the PRVT-RING-EPS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
