Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is CXFrameRelayInterfaceModule-MIB?
CXFrameRelayInterfaceModule-MIB is a legacy Crosscomm (CX900/CX1000 architecture, built on CXFrameRelay-MIB/CXProduct-SMI) proprietary MIB configuring Frame Relay SAP (Service Access Point) interfaces. Its objects cover a service-restart connect interval, service cost, and a SAP table (ID, row status, type, alias, companion alias, max DLCIs, max error frames, monitor-frames flag, FR window size, control-stats flag) with a companion stats table (RX/TX data frames/octets, unopened-service discards, PVC-down discards, successful/unsuccessful user opens, successful/unsuccessful SR connects, TX resets). As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm SAP DLCI limits and watch Frame Relay connection-success rates on a legacy Crosscomm CX router. It is deployed on legacy Crosscomm CX900/CX1000 router equipment (Frame Relay). Engineers can download the CXFrameRelayInterfaceModule-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CXFrameRelayInterfaceModule-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Legacy Crosscomm CX900/CX1000 router equipment (Frame Relay)
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks frimSapstatSRUnsuccessfulConnects to diagnose repeated Frame Relay connection failures on a legacy Crosscomm CX router.
What Can Be Monitored
- Frame Relay SAP configuration and connection success rates
