frimSysConReqDataSize

Module: CXFrameRelayInterfaceModule-MIB

OID (symbolic): CXFrameRelayInterfaceModule-MIB::frimSysConReqDataSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.2.5.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Indicates the data size of a frame requested at connection. If the request comes from another module in the local device, the application on that module determines the requested size. If the request comes from the Frame Relay module, 'bopSapOprPortMaxFrameSize' (default=1,600) minus overhead defined by 'frpSapAddressLength' (default=two bytes) and, if enabled, 'frpCircuitMultiProtEncaps' (six bytes if even data bytes in frame, or seven bytes if odd data bytes in frame) determines this size.

Range of Values: 32 - 4,096

Default Value: none

What is frimSysConReqDataSize?

Indicates the frame data size (32-4,096 bytes) requested when this connection was set up, based on either the requesting module's application or, for Frame Relay-originated requests, the port's max frame size minus protocol overhead. An admin compares this to frimSysConNegDataSize to see whether the requested size had to be reduced.
