Description: MIB for statistics collection policy management in Cisco UCS, configuring collection intervals, threshold definitions, and reporting policies across UCS infrastructure

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-STATS-MIB?

CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-STATS-MIB is a Cisco Systems proprietary MIB representing the STATS (statistics-collection policy) management-information package within Cisco UCS Manager. Its collection-policy table records instance ID/distinguished-relative name, collection interval, reporting interval, policy name/ID, and a set of FSM (Finite State Machine) fields tracking policy-change provisioning progress (previous/current stage, remote-invocation result/error, timestamp, status, retry count, completion time). As a configuration/status MIB it lets a UCS administrator confirm how frequently performance statistics are collected/reported and watch policy-change provisioning status. It is deployed on Cisco UCS Manager-managed compute platforms. Engineers can download the CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-STATS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-STATS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco UCS Manager-managed compute platforms

Monitoring Examples

A UCS administrator checks cucsStatsCollectionPolicyCollectionInterval to confirm how frequently a given statistics category is being sampled on a Cisco UCS domain.

What Can Be Monitored

  • statistics collection/reporting interval and policy provisioning status
