Description: Cisco UCS stats:ThrFloatValue:direction managed object property
What is cucsStatsThrFloatValueDirection?
This is the direction property of a floating-point threshold value object, the live runtime state of one floating-point threshold as UCS Manager evaluates it against a sensor reading such as temperature or voltage, including how many times it has crossed up (escalating) or dropped back down (deescalating), specifying whether this threshold triggers when the monitored value rises above or falls below its configured bound. An admin setting up a threshold checks this direction to make sure it matches the failure mode they actually care about, since a value going too high and too low can both be problems for different counters. For example, a floating-point threshold value governing free disk space or battery charge would use a downward direction, while one governing temperature or CPU load would typically use an upward direction.
