What Is ANIROOT-MIB?
ANIROOT-MIB is a structural, top-level enterprise MIB for ANI Networks that defines the root of that vendor's private OID hierarchy under which its product-specific MIB modules would register their objects. No MODULE-IDENTITY description text or sample object names were available for this module, consistent with it being a pure registration/naming node rather than a data-bearing MIB. As such it exposes no monitorable hardware or software status data of its own - any monitoring capability would come from ANI Networks product MIBs that register beneath this root, not from this module itself. Opening ANIROOT-MIB in a MIB Browser mainly serves to confirm ANI Networks' enterprise OID placement before locating any product-specific modules registered beneath it. Like other vendor root MIBs, other ANI MIB modules implicitly depend on it for their place in the enterprise OID tree, and it would be present, indirectly, on any ANI Networks device whose vendor MIBs reference this OID hierarchy.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ANIROOT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- ANI Networks devices (root OID definition only, not tied to a specific product)
Monitoring Examples
No sample object or table names were provided for this MIB, and root/registration MIBs of this type typically define only OID tree nodes with no runtime-monitorable objects, so no realistic polling scenario can be described for it.
