Description: Xylogics Remote Annex WAN interface management for T1/E1, PRI, NFAS, SS7, and tunnel-port lines on CSMIM-T1 and Annex access server hardware
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is XYLO-WAN-MIB?
XYLO-WAN-MIB is a legacy Xylogics (enterprise OID 15, remote-access/WAN equipment vendor, later Bay Networks) proprietary MIB reporting T1/PRI line configuration and status on the Annex remote-access server. Its objects cover total T1/PRI line count, a per-line configuration table (line code, framing, distance, DS1 line build-out, ones-density, engine-bypass), unit ID/serial number, uptime, total channel count, PRI-reset action, switch type, inbound/outbound call-blocking flags, line length, analog encoding, PRI module type, and CAS DNIS/ANI digit counts. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm T1/PRI line framing and signaling parameters on a Xylogics Annex remote-access server. It is deployed on Xylogics (Bay Networks) Annex remote-access servers. Engineers can download the XYLO-WAN-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in XYLO-WAN-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Xylogics (Bay Networks) Annex remote-access servers
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks anxt1DiiFraming and anxt1SwitchType to confirm T1/PRI line parameters match the carrier's configuration on a Xylogics Annex remote-access server.
What Can Be Monitored
- T1/PRI line configuration and status
