Description: The number of open files allowed at one time. Opening a file when the maximum number of files are currently open will fail. Additional information: Indicates the number of open files a personality (e.g. PCL or PostScript) is guaranteed to be able to open before the file system runs out of file handles. After writing this object, the printer must be rebooted (powercycled) before the change takes effect. This object supports any value between 32 - 512 inclusive. If a value Less then 32 then it snaps to 32 if greater then 512 it snaps to 512. The factory default value is dependent on the amount of installed RAM. The default value of 32 is when Memory <= 4MB, 128 is if the memory is > 4MB. Performing a cold reset sets this object back to the factory default value. Returns status if attempting to access this object and there is no storage device is installed.
