Description: Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 9065 MFP printer SNMP MIB for monitoring supplies, paper trays, and device operational status.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is LJ9065-MIB?

LJ9065-MIB is a Hewlett-Packard enterprise MIB specific to the HP LaserJet 9065 multifunction printer, part of HP's private device/device-system and netPMLmgmt (Printer Management Language) object subtree. It exposes device configuration and diagnostic objects covering self-test execution, permanent storage initialization, localization/language support, control panel button and key press events, and power-management states such as on/off-line, sleep-mode, and energy-star compliance. It is explicitly useful for monitoring hardware and firmware/software status: self-test reports diagnostic pass/fail outcomes, perm-store-init-occurred flags whether non-volatile storage was reinitialized (often after a firmware update or NVRAM fault), and on-off-line/sleep-mode report the printer's current operational and power state. It builds on HP's private PML-based management framework, reflected in the netPMLmgmt object subtree, rather than relying solely on the standard IETF Printer-MIB. It is deployed in office/print-room environments managing the HP LaserJet 9065 high-volume MFP. Engineers can download the LJ9065-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in LJ9065-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • HP LaserJet 9065 multifunction printer

Monitoring Examples

An admin polls self-test after triggering print-internal-page to confirm the printer's internal diagnostic and test-page print completed successfully, and checks on-off-line together with sleep-mode to determine why a printer isn't responding to jobs, whether it is offline or asleep. perm-store-init-occurred is checked after a firmware update or unexpected reboot to see whether NVRAM was reset, and control-panel-button-press/control-panel-key-press can be monitored to audit operator interaction with the device's front panel.

What Can Be Monitored

  • self-test result
  • online/offline and sleep-mode power state
  • permanent storage initialization event
  • energy-star/power management status
  • control panel button/key press events
  • error continue/auto-continue configuration
