What Is LaserJet5Si-Mopier-MIB?

This HP proprietary MIB covers the HP LaserJet 5Si Mopier, a high-volume printer/copier device ("Mopier" = multiple original print) supporting collated multi-set printing jobs. It exposes job-input and job-output auto-continue timeout/mode settings, power management, error logging, and background status message objects. It is used to monitor hardware/software status such as sleep-mode/energy-star power state, online/offline status, job-input-auto-continue and job-output-auto-continue behavior (governing how the device handles paper-input or output-related errors during large mopier jobs), and background status-line text reflecting current device state. It works within the standard Printer MIB (RFC 3805) and HP's proprietary PML framework shared across the LaserJet MIB family. It is deployed in high-volume print-room environments running HP LaserJet 5Si Mopier devices for large collated print runs. Engineers can download the LaserJet5Si-Mopier-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
