What Is EDGELINK-MIB?

EDGELINK-MIB is a vendor MIB for "EdgeLink" edge-network equipment; despite its general short description referencing link aggregation and failover, the actual objects captured for this module (elDS1CMTable and related elDS1CM* objects) show it is really focused on DS1 (T1) Channelized Module management — configuring and monitoring individual DS1 channels on an edge access device. Monitoring Examples

An admin can poll elDS1CMTable/elDS1CMEntry indexed by elDS1CMChannelNumber to read elDS1CMInputStatus and elDS1CMMaskState, detecting a T1 channel that has lost signal or is in an alarm condition. Checking elDS1CMLoopbackMode across channels would reveal a channel left in test loopback that should have been returned to normal service, and elDS1CMLineCode/elDS1CMLineBuildout confirm the channel's line configuration matches the connected carrier circuit.
