What Is EdgeSwitch-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB?

EdgeSwitch-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB is a Broadcom (FastPath switch software, marketed under Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch and other OEM brands) proprietary MIB configuring IPv6-over-IPv4 tunnels (6to4/manual/ISATAP-style). Its tunnel table, keyed by ID, records ifIndex, tunnel mode, local/remote IPv4 address, local interface index, status, and ICMP-unreachable-message mode, while a prefix table records the IPv6 prefix/prefix-length and status assigned to a tunnel. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm an IPv6 tunnel's endpoint addressing and assigned prefix before troubleshooting IPv6 connectivity over a legacy IPv4-only network segment. It is deployed on Broadcom FastPath-based switches (including Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch). Engineers can download the EdgeSwitch-IPV6-TUNNEL-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
